Happy New Year....oh wait its a month later

Anyway yea it has been a while, sue me. I had a crappy month. It was freezing worse than normal out, then i got sick, and my hair has been in static central since it turned 2009, so frankly the only hair I was trying to deal with and think about is mine. Good thing I am going for a much needed trim this weekend to get this do back into shape.

Vavoom shaved off his entire head apparently, so he also has been feeling some do issues this month as well. At least I got the backhanded comment of "Teach me out to be you" I ask "why me?" and get the response of "Because I want less body in my hair". Thanks Vavoom! You sure know how to make a girl feel good about her hair. That's why I have to buy mousse. (See past entry on my mousse trauma.)

In any case, since it has been cold, I have been watching a crapload of television. Lately, the commercial I am about to show you has been on repeatedly. At least it isn't the hot bod commercials which are probably the worst. This commercial is for Axe hair products. Apparently they moved from that god awful body spray (which I briefly dated someone who did use that, WHY? I don't know (key word =briefly)), to hair products for men. Please review:

So my first question is. Are these really international male models? I suspect not. If they were, you clearly can tell they are wearing wigs. Also - the wigs are just spike dos. Why not do a mullet? Or a perm? Lastly, if their face and body are pretty hot as a male model would probably be, can't you just give them a makeover? Or tell them, yes we can sleep together as long as I can cut your hair first?

The only point that this commercial makes is that women do care about men's hair. This is the only aspect of this commercial that makes sense. If someone tries these hair products, can you please report to me the outcome? I am really curious to what they might do to a man's hair. Maybe I will buy some for an experiment. It is the new year and all. Time to get crazy.
