Links and Do's and Stuff

Seems like during all the negativity of what is happening in the world, people still have found time to make light of life and joined forces to continue discussion of hairdos worldwide.

Vavoom sent me the following link regarding Phil Spector. If you are not aware of who that is, google it. Anyway, during his trial he had sported a few dos that the dailymail decided to comment on:

I personally like the fro do because I just always like fros. I think fros say "i am confident, I like my wild hair, and look at me and be jealous of how big my hair can get." It makes a statement, a bold statement.

Another link I had found on accident at work. Oddly enough careerbuilder.com actually had this piece.

http://www.careerbuilder.com/Article/CB-1119-The-Workplace-How-Hair-Plays-a-Part-In-Your-Career/?cbsid=cc94e79af68847f8b69c125f917186ef-286491470-R1-4&ArticleID=1119&cbRecursionCnt=2

The article talks about hair parts and what it means about you based on what side you part your hair on. For example:

# Men who part their hair on the left are often popular and successful. People perceive them as strong.

# Women who part their hair on the left are considered reliable and intelligent. It's a smart move for those who work in politics or business.

# Men who part their hair on the right are seen as radical and open. These men should be strong enough to overcome the stigma against men with this part.

# Women who part their hair on the right are viewed as gentle and feminine. Because it is a more traditional style, it can affect how seriously they are taken.

# People who don't part their hair, can't part their hair due to baldness or use a center part come across as trustworthy and wise.

It then goes into a list of famous people and the way their hair is parted. Overall a semi-interesting article. Does it really matter what side your hair is parted on in your career? I doubt it. But I think it is saying that people with certain types of personalities tend to part their hair on a certain side. I don't think I ever chose the side to part my hair on. I think it just naturally happened.

Ideally I really should part it on the other side, to help hide my cowlick, but what can you do. Good luck with your parts.
